Grape Varieties: Sangiovese 80% - Cabernet Souvignon 20%

Production zone: Montalcino (Si)

Harvest period: Sangiovese first days of October, Cabernet half october.

Vinification: In steel tanks of 70 hl with long maceration (15-20 days), two repassing of must over the grape dreg per day at controlled temperature.

Ageing: 18 months in french barriques (allier) with medium toast.

Yearly production: 13.316 bottles of 0.75 lt.

Bottling: 15 May 2001

MAIN FEATURES

Colour: Intense rubin red.

Bouquet: Net, of great fineness and fullness.

Taste: Dry, warm, armonic and well structured.

Serving temperature: 18° C.

Food matching:
Roast meet, wild fowl and medium ageing cheese

Alcohol content: 14,00% Vol.
